I am trying to find the granmothers of Mary Jame Thomas (b.1860). Her father's name was John Thomas(d 1869) and her mother's name was Ann Davies. The father of John Thomas was also named John Thomas. The father of Anne Davies was John Davies. The daudhter of Mary Jane Thomas had a picture of an elderly woman which was labeled "great grandmother Thomas" I would love to know who she was.
This family lived in the Pontypoo-Trevethin area of Monmoutshire. |

I'm searching for any info on my Great Grandfather. He went to America via Australia late 19th Century. I know he was born 1870 dying in Denver Colarado aged 60. His full name was EDWARD OWEN WILLIAMS and was a founder member of Welsh Presbyterian Church in Denver and the Managing Director of Gold Mines of the West. I've got a possible address from ship's manifest 440 Williams Street Denver. He was from Dolgelleua ( DOL- GETH- LIE ) in North Wales. He was a Gold Miner possibly travelling with his father. If any one knows anything about him or any descendants it would be interesting to hear from you. |

MORGAN - I am searching for information about my GG-Grandfather, William David Morgan. He was from Swansea Wales, born about 1820 and according to some info I have he was a superintendant of one of the coal mines there. His first wife was Anne Griffith. Their children were Joseph, Edward and Kate.
Ann died maybe about 1850 and William married Mary Prosser. They immigrated to Wisconsin about 1850-1854. They later moved to Colorada and they had children: David, Milcah, Sarah, Thomas Mathew, William, and Benjamin.
My G-Grandfather is Thomas Mathew. I know that most of his siblings lived in or around Craig, Colorado.
If any of this sounds familiar to you, I would enjoy hearing from you.
Thanks,
PeriLyn
