| Hi, Does anyone have access to the 1851 census for Pembroke Dock-St. Marys? I am looking for the family of my GG Grandather, George Dennis Polkinghorn(e) born in the 1sr qtr of 1843 in Pembroke Dock. | I am looking for Glyn Evans.He would be in his fifties now.He was married to Shirley in 1972,they divorced soon after.They had twin daughters called Andrea and Elizabeth.He lived in the newport gwent area at this time and may still live locally.I believe he was or still is a taxi/bus/coach driver.Any info would be greatly appreciated. |

Looking for any information on Rosanna Mary Begg, Daughter of John Begg and Dorcas, John Begg is shown on the 1881 census as living Llanishen area of Cardiff. They had four daughters and John Begg is listed as being born in St Petershead, Scotland he could have been born abt 1845.

Can anyone help?
I am trying to find out when my Grandfather was born. His name was Edward John Evans,he was married to Elizabeth Ada Evans I have been told his parents lived in Hereford so I am thinking he was born there. I have asked my Aunt and Uncle for his date of birth but they can't remember. He was born in 1887 and Died in 1967 aged 80. I have tried the 1901 census but no luck, any help would be much appreciated |

I would be really grateful for any help on tracing any information at all on my great grandfather Evan Jones. Here is what I have so far:
1892 married Fanny Sampson in Parish of Roath, Cardiff on 3rd September.
1901 Census shows living in Grangetown,Cardiff and proffession is carpenter, (his fathers name was also Evan and with the same proffession) born in Cardigan Town.Age 33rs
1901 died November 17th at the age of 34yrs.
Any help would be appreciated as I have hit that dreaded brick wall now and dont seem to get over it!

| I am searching for the family of PHILLIP HOWELLS and JANETTA MARTIN who married in UK and emigrated to South Australia on SS Coromadel in 1854 with their small child PHILLIP ARTHUR HOWELLS born in Surrey 1852. I have been unable to get index No. for the marriage of Phillip and Janetta, find their birth details, or the birth details of their child. I have extensive details of this family once they arrived in South Asutralia and also have the passenger list for the SS Coromadel as it departed 1854 and arrived Port Adelaide 1955. Willing to share these details to interested persons researching the same time. |
