Any information regarding David Mortimer Davies born Blaina around 1840. He was the son of Thomas and Annie Davies Nee Lewis. Thomas was a miner. David trained for the church at Brecon Independant College. Sailed for Australia on the British Lion in 1866. David was a member of the Church of Berea?. Is this church near Blaina?
Hoping to hear from anyone regarding this information. |

Hello,
I'm trying to find relatives of my father Richard Rowland. I know his father Thomas Rowland was born in North Wales in 1860, he was a miner. Apparently this particular family were militant miners and hounded out of Wales. He went to live in Wigan Lancashire. If anyone knows anything please e-mail me.

Hi. I'm looking for David and Hannah Walters from Llangadock, Carmarthenshire. Both Hannah and David were born about 1850 according to Census records. I think they were together in 1901 but when Hannah died circa 1925 she was already a widow. I believe Hannah was related to my Davies/Rees family but have yet to prove this. They had several children, one of which a daughter was mentioned in the funeral report as Miss Evans. Thanking you in advance for any help. |

Looking for information regarding the Sherrah/Sherrak/Sharah/Sherra (and other derivatives of this name) family in Southern Wales at any time. I understand this name is not a common one. My great x3 grandfather was Thomas Sherrah and he emigrated to Australia in c 1860's.
His father was John and mother was Mary and they had 15 children in total in the Brigend area. Have some census information regarding the family but am interested in finding John's parents (j was born 1807)
I have an extensive family history for Australia as 3 of the children of John and Mary ultimately emigrated here to Adelaide, Australia.
Cheers
Sharon
