Hello everyone in Wales.
I am looking for ancestors I believe came from Wales. The surname is Williams. There was at least 3 brothers(I think) and they were Robert James William and Harry(married Iris Coates) and I belive their father was Richard Williams. Richard I think was a farmer and one of the brothers had a Bakery and was involved in horses. Robert James is my great grandfather. Little is known as the person who was looking into the history has become sick and we cannot get any details. William moved to Major Plains(Devonish)in Victoria in 1881 from Wales and we think he married Janet Dunlop. Hoping someone can help. Thankyou. |

Looking for Margaret Roberts, daughter of Peter Roberts, who was a welshman and a private banker. She married William Mariner in May 1818, and died 1871. She has a tombstone in Gravesend.

Looking for information on EVANS family
William EVANS 1866-1942 married Harriet Charlotte SHIPWAY
13 Children- Andrew John 1987-1985, Emily,George,James, Joseph,Mary,
William Richard, Rose,David Edward,Annie, Clara, Sarah,and Unknown
Census 1881 Richard Evans 54 Wales
Mary 50
William 15
Ellen 9
(This may not be correct family) but the age for William is right.
Census 1901 has 3 Williams, and I haven't been able to find households.
Can anyone can access the 1901 Census to find the right one. |

Trying to trace my ancestors from Cardiff. I was born in Ghana and my late father( Samuel Davidson) also born in Ghana on 17th Feb. 1950.
My grandfather whom I never meet, I am told was born in Cardiff in octber 1902, his parents (father) was called John Powell Davis and (mother)
Mabel Davies formerlly Bernnnet.Their address was 43 Manor street, Cardiff.

| Seeking Evan Jones went to U.S. as a young man, born about1863 possibly in Porth Wales. He returned to England and married Gwendolyn Edwardes then returned to U.S. where eldest daughter Mary born at Scranton Pa. Other children; Stan,David,Howard,Bryn,Thomas,Gwen,Evan,Garfield, Blodwyn. Cant locate on 1881 Census.Came back to Wales,Porth and later Craig-y-fedwr near Risca,where he had a grocery store,but when? |
