| Hi I am trying to find any information on John Roberts (great grand farthe)married a lady by the name Emma Edwards in or around Barmouyth then moving on to north wales they had 4 children one of them being my grandfarther Robert John Roberts married a lady by the name Mary Roberts ( same surname possiably from Dwygyfyhi)WHOM DIED DURING CHILD BIRTH WITH THEIR 3RD CHILD, they had 2 son,s Albert , and Emyrs,he then whent on to marry a lady by the name of Sarah Hughes,Robert John lived all his adult life at 111 Abererch Rd Pweliheli north Wales any information would be great. |

Through the process of elimination this appears to be my family but not definately proven yet.
John Roberts s/o Edward 1674 Estyn, siblings Mary1677, Thomas 1680, Catherine 1683, William 1690, Edward 1692, James 1696, Catherine 1697.
John married Catherine Williams in 1699 In Uwchynymydd Ucha.
John had Edward 1708 (who I think is mine) Sarah 1705 Jane 1712, Thomas 1715 all born in Uwchymynydd Issa, Robert 1717 in Nerewys.
Edward 1708 married Martha Vaughan in Malpas 1734. His son Thomas 1753 died in Iscoyd in 1837 as well as daughter Martha who we think became Grett, Other children were William 1739 (mine) Mary 1747, Sarah 1747, Anne 1749, Elizabeth 1750, Charles 1757 all born in Malpas. I believe some of these lived in Wales.
The other possibility is John Roberts s/o Edward born in Rhanberfedd in 1688. The siblings are Catherine 1687, James 1691, Martha 1695.
John had children Richard, 1701, John 1704, Margaret 1708, Edward 1711, Robert 1716, William 1718. Son John 1704 is buried in the churchyard of St Cynfarch, Hope, along with the rest of his family.
The Rhanberfedd family is the one I am trying to eliminate. I am trying to find the death or marriage of Edward 1711 or the buriel site of the other siblings.
If anyone is connected to either family or knows someone who is please contact me.

POWELL surname believe to have come from somewhere in WALES.
Have a JOHN POWELL maybe born about 1841???? or somewhere around tihs time. Married someone named ELIZABETH, they then moved to LEICESTERSHIRE, LOUGHBOUOGH.had a son named EDWARD POWELL.
Looking for any connections to this family.

| Would some kind person please look on the 1851 Census for a John Wynne dob unknown, sons William b.1828, Joseph b.1841 & Alfred b.1843. May also have had a sister/brother/cousins, Llewelyn & Eliza Wynne. William married an Anne Parry b.1835, (Father Thomas(Pen y ball)at Holywell Parish Church 30 May 1857. Many thanks Carl |

searching the welsh connection. gggrandfather Joseph Jones born 24/2/1830 'Flintshire' married Mary Parry Williams (born 9/4/1826 Carnarvonshire) Whalley,Lancashire 26/3/1853
sailed to australia in 1855 on the 'Northern Light'and lived in south australia.
Joseph was a Mason his Father William a Mason
Mary was a Servant her Father Henry a Quarryman
I have been told that mary was brought up at the foot of Mount Snowdon ??Llanberris |
