I was wondering if somebody might be able to do a look up for me?
My ancestor Mary Jane Davies born 1865 Colwyn Bay Wales married in Lancashire on Mary Janes marriage certificate (Dated 1885) it was stated that her father was David Davies possibly born around 1835-1845
David Davies occpation on the marriage certificate was Water Inspector.

I am looking for the parents of my Great Grandfather, IVOR HUMPHRIES, middle name may be Thomas, born ca. 1876 in Pembroke Dock or Twopenny Hay, Pembroke, Wales. Ivor married Catherine (Davey?).
Ivor and Catherine's (Kate) children were Mary Ann Humphries Morgan(my grandmother)born 1898 in New Tredegar, Wales, Frances Humphries, David Humphries and Ivor Humphries.
Ivor left his family when his children were still young and I don't know what happened to him. Catherine remarried Charles Sullivan and had two more children, Charles Sullivan and Mamie Sullivan.
However, it is Ivor Humphries I am interested in, who his parents are, and what happened to him.
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. |

Hi. I'm looking for Hugh Griffith, b.1818 in Harloth, North Wales, and his wife Ellen (last name unknown). They had a daughter Ann, born I believe, while still in Wales (b.1844). The rest of their children were born in the states. They are my gggrandparents, and I'd love to find out more information. I don't know their parents or anything else about them, except that they eventually settled in Belmont, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. Please respond to my e-mail.

I am trying to find info on my grandfather John Davies, a marriner who sailed on the Standard bearer around ahout 1877. He was Welsh and was born in Fishguard Pembrokeshire Wales in 1864/65. His parents were John and Maria opr Mary Davies. John was a collier. I have searched all records and cannot find any reference to them.
In 1899 John married Edith Florence Picton in Cardiff Wales and they emigrated to New Zealand about 1907. Ediths parents were Charles and Elizabeth (nee Wiliams).
Other names which keep appearing in my research are Jones and Evans.
Any help whould be greatly appreciated as I seem to have drawn a complete blank with the Davies family.
