I'm looking for ANY information on Peter Jones. All I know about him is that he left Wales around 1755 and settled in Virginia. Any help will be greatly appreciated! |

My ancestors are RICHARD MORGAN b: 1792, CATHERINE MORGAN b: 1796, and son WILLIAM MORGAN b: 5/5/1824 Merthyr Tydill, Clamorgan, Wales.
This is from the sealed files of the LDS and I am trying to verify it. They came to the US before 1839, to Cambria Twp. Cambria Co., Pa.
1850 census showes Richard, Catherine, William, with his son John b: 1839 in Pa.
1860 census Blacklick, Cambria Co., Pa. shows
Richard, Catherine, William (remarried), Elizabeth b: 1830, Sarah J. b: 1858, John b: 1855
They probably were part of the Bethel Church founded in 1833 in Blacklick Twp. the oldest Protestant Church in Cambria Co. |
