Question:
I have a copy of an old letter. At the top of it says
Hay 1st of May 1832
Is Hay a place in Wales? If so where so I can get some more information? The letter talks of the "American fever (of immigration) boiling in their brains" My ancestor was Rev. Jacob Price.

Looking for info about descendants of John Jones/Caroline Jones. Children living beyond childhood: Caroline (1868-?), Alfred Ernst (1870-?), Arthur William (1874-1956), Gertrude Amlet (1877-?), David John (1879-1916). My husband is Arthur William's grandson. Any help would be appreciated. |

Looking for info about David Harding/Elizabeth Thomas and descendants. David was born about 1836 and Elizabeth about 1841 in Pontypool. Children: Samuel, Caroline/Charlotte, George (1873-?), Lydia (1876-1945), David Arthur (1879-?). All children born in Blaenavon. Any help appreciated! |

Hello to All,
I am looking for further history for my Jones family. My ggrandfather was Lewis Jones of Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. He married Eliza Biddle c.1879 and their children were John, George, Alice, Lewis, David, Emily,Richard, Charles at the 1891 census. They had another son William in 1894 (my grandfather) and there may have been other children born after William.
