I am looking for George W. Lines (Lyons) in the 1841 census. He was living in Garndaiffaith in the 1851 census. He was born in Bitton, England. Married Mary Phillips of Rumney, Wales and they had their first child in 1846 Thomas P. Lines, then Hannah, Jabez, Alexander, Alfred, James, George. They came to America in 1862 and settled in Western Maryland. George was a coal miner. I am looking for a marriage license or the census for 1841 and 1861. Thank you. |

I am looking for more information on my Grandfather WILLIAM HENRY WILLIAMS who died at the age of 28 on 2nd June 1926 in Llanidloes, Montgomeryshire. I believe he was born in Pwllheli, North Wales and had three sisters and one brother Robert. He married my Grandmother Edith Mary Corfield and they had five children: Leonard, George (my father), Hilda, Gwen and Doris. My father died two years ago and I would like to trace his ancestors, but not having any luck on the 1901 Census. Look forward to hearing from anyone that can help. Many thanks Shirley. |

There are a lot "Griffiths" Families in the West Bromwich/Wednesbury area of Staffordshire in the 1700 to 1800's. What caused the migration, what part of Wales did they come from and are they all decended from one family group. |
