I am trying to trace a George Wells born in Gloucester 1862. Father Joseph and Mother Ann, He had three brothers Thomas, Joseph and William.
William was my Grandfather who died in 1963 any information most welcome.

I am reseaching for information on my Goodwin family line from Newchurch to Montgomery.I have a Edward Price GOODWIN born 1800 Radnorshire, Wales.He married Elizabeth EDWARDS on 18th June 1825 at Bryngwgn parish church.Some of their children are;
Edward Goodwin born 1826,married Margaret CRAIG in London, England. They went to Australia in 1853 and farmed for six years, then moved to Banks Peninsula, NZ in 1859 to take up farming at Pigeon Bay.
James Goodwin born 1832 Newchurch, wales. He married Jane CRAIG in 1855 in Sydney, Australia. James and Jane, sailed to Australia on the ship KATE to be with Edward and Margaret.They came to New Zealand in 1859.
John Goodwin born 1828 Newchurch, Wales. He sailed to the USA in 1850 and took up farming in Ohio. He married Sally Osborn.
Thomas Goodwin born 1829 at Newchurch, Wales.He sailed to the USA in 1850 / 1852 and farmed in Ohio. He married Rosetta Keene.
John GOODWYN born 1765 at Radnorshire, Wales. He married Elizabeth PRICE at LLanbadarn, Wales, UK.
Edward GOODWYN born 1720 Montgomery, Wales. He died 1783 at LLanmerewig. He first married Mary ? and his 2nd marriage was to Hannah WILLIMS on 24th Feb 1742 at LLandyssail parish church. Hannah born 1725.

I am wanting information about Christopher John JONES and Martha Ann WATKINS, were they married and were they are buried. Some of their children names are; Lillian,Martha,Robert John, Laura Elizabeth. I found a marriage date Sept quarter 1898, Bedwelty, Monmouthshire, Wales, UK. If this year is true, it make tow of their born before they married.
Christopher John JONES is the son of Thomas and Prudence JONES of Darowen. Christopher born 1880 at Darowen, Montgomery, Wales.
Laura Elizabeth JONES married George William HALL 1916 in Newport, Wales. |

| I am trying to trace any relation to Ada Thomas ~ married to William Thomas from Coedpoeth. They left Wales to follow Bills career in the firebrigade. I know that Ada may have been raised in Coedpoeth, Brymbo or somewhere in that area.She was either fostered or adopted. I have very little background info on her or her husband.The only other link was that Bills father was connected to the Gresford Minning disaster.Can any one help? |

POWELL
have POWELL surname in family history.
Believe an EDWARD POWELL was born in WALES in very early 1800.
Also rumour to do with the COLLINS CIRUCS????.
One of the POWELL family moved to STAFFORDSHIRE.
