My ancestor William David aka William Cecil married Elizabeth Jones (or Cecil) about 1825 mpossibly in Wales, England or Hong Kong. Originating in Wales he spent much of his life in Hong Kong as a shipowner. His son Cyril Cecil was a merchant in Hong Kong and settled in Australia in 1859.

Info most acceptable as we have come to a standstill.

Looking for birth/death/marriage info for Edward EVANS of Towyn, born December 12, 1815. Looking for birth certificate to learn his parents names, and I don't have his date of death, only that it's after 1884 as he was still sailing until then. 1851 Census shows him as Farmer/Sailor of Towyn, wife "Jane". 1861 Census shows him as Master Mariner. Birth date and occupation confirmed through his Master's Certificate still in possesion of descendents.

Hi, I am seeking info about a grandfather many times removed, his name I believe to be George Byam. He emmigrated to North America with two of his brothers sometime in the 1630s. I believe that Geo. settled in the Niagara area and one brother in the Detroit area and the other in the Bay of Quinte area. They were very likely Methodists and possibly had some Hugeonaughts in their background.
