My mother from Llithfaen, my father from Trefor, family originally from Llanwrst (Melyn Y Glyn)
Mother Elizabeth Ann Griffiths,Father Thomas Ellis Evans. Mothers line from Bryn Bychan Farm Llanaelhaiern, Griffith Roberts, John Roberts Griffiths,(changed surname) Her mother's, side , Rhydllan Farm, Richard Davies, also later Rhyd Y Berw Farm, Jane Davies, info ,1851 Census. There were many siblings along the way ,I am sure there must be relatives in "them thar hills".So please ring the bell. Diolch |

Researching Owen Owens who married Elizabeth Price on 27 May 1828 at Bodwrog Anglesey who's daughter wa Mary Ann(e) Owens born 20 Sept 1838 in Llanllechid Bangor. Mary married a George Clarke who was born in Liverpool in 1840. They lived at 49 Blk Diamond St Chester St Oswald Cheshire in 1881

Hi,
I am new to this and trying to trace my mother's side of the family. She has Alzheimer's and before this she often talked of her family coming from Coleford and we had tried to find whereabouts. One of the places she mentioned was Newlands where her great grandfather James Morgan and grate grandmother Selina James lived. Her father was Thomas Morgan married to Lucy Saunders. Lucy was a cripple and a seamstress at court. Her grandfatherowned the Opencast mines in Coleford but lost due to gambling. They had 4 children Rose Ann Morgan born 25th August 1884 (my grandmother), Ethel Jane Morgan born June 1890, Loveridge Morgan born September 1891 and Henry Morgan born 1900. He in later years moved to Coventry where he worked. I hope someone will be able to help me - Thanks in advance! |

I am looking for any info on Ann EVANS born approx 1806 in Merionethshire Wales.Father Doctor James EVANS, mother Mary. She moved to England and married a Thomas FARMER in 1826 and emigrated to Perth Western Australia in 1829 on the HMS Sulphur. |
