Hello All,
I am in Adelaide South Australia and for about 8 years now I have been doing free research for anyone who had ancestors come here in the 1800's.
If you have had ancestors who came to South Australia at some stage, and would like to know what happened to them while they were here, just let me have whatever details you may have e.g. Christian and Surnames and approx. time of coming here, and I'd be very happy to have a look for you through our records, when I go back to the library in Adelaide next time.
Feel free to get back to me on my email address.
Regards
Heather

My g.g.grandfather,David Gam DAVIES joined the Royal Navy in 1806 at the age of 12. The Admiralty records show that he was born in Bristol, Gloucs. in around 1793, passed as Lieutenant in 1815 and died in London in 1853.While on Half Pay he acted as a physician in Claines, Worcs. He does not appear in the London 1851 Census. Can anyone help me to find the Bristol parish he was born in.(Originally our ancestors came from Pencarreg,Carmathenshire) |
