My father was JOHN PRICE WILLIAMS (also known as Bill or Jack); his father was JOHN WILLIAMS from Wembley and his grandfather was JOHN PRICE WILLIAMS who was a Stationmaster. His mother was DINAH EVEREST from Half Yoke (?) and her father was WILLIAM EVEREST,a Labourer and her mother was ROSETTA EVEREST. He was John Price Williams (Bill or Jack) who was in the Army from the age of 16 until his late 50s and was a Major when he left. His father's (John Williams) family ran a brewery in Wales but when he married he was living in Kent (Maidstone or Dartford). He married Dinah Everest 2 January 1900. They both died in the influenza epidemic at the beginning of the 19th Century and my father was left an orphan. He did have a sister who died aged about 10. Reply to this message   Barb Cramer Johnstown, PA USA Feb 26, 2006 I am looking for my grtgrandmother's family. I don't know what county in Wales. Her name is Hannah {Roberts} Morgan (I don't know if her maiden name is Roberts or Morgan). She was born in 1858 in Wales. She came to America in about 1860. She married William H Barnitz on April 18, 1881 in Johnstown, PA. The witnesses at their wedding was William H Roberts and Lizzie Thompson. I think they had 7 children, one died in infancy. The other six children's names are: Bertha, Mary, Emmanuel, Frank, Thomas and Salome. Salome is my grandmother. Hannah died in March 1903, I'm told she died during children, but the years don't add up. Her husband, William H Barnitz, died in 1930. They are both buried in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, PA. Any info would be greatly appreciated. His mother was Rachel, his father died in 1924 (?) but I don't know his christin name or even her maiden name. I believe the following to be the case: My father was the son of Lawrence Pye Salthouse 1915-1982 and Phyllis [nee Sharples] 1915-2004. 2 He was the son of Richard Wright Salthouse 1871-1951 and Jane [nee Pye] 1874-1948, address: 40 North Church Street, Fleetwood. 3 He was the son of Edward Salthouse, 1844 [drowned] -1872 and Mary [nee Wright, born 1847/48 - ?] 4 I believe that Edward was the son of, John and Alice [nee Wilding] married 1840, Fleetwood. Any information,would be most welcome and very much appreciated. Reply to this message   ian williams Wales Feb 21, 2006 am trying to trace any ancestors of Evan Williams born in carmarthenshire in 1819 and married to jane, date unknow. They had 3 children and later lived in cefn coed-y-cummer. evan was a stonemason.Please e-mail me if you have any information.
