I would be so pleased to find someone else looking for my Jones family. Isaac Jones b C 1808 in Denbigh m Mary Hughes b C 1812 in Meifod, Montgomery. Isaac was an Attorney at Law admitted to the Bar 1860. Isaac lived in Llanfyllin, and practised in Llanfyllin,Llanymynech, Oswestry & Salop.

Also my other Hughes family - John Hughes b C1794 married Mary - he was a Pilot and lived in Bangor, There were 4 children Ann C 1821, Mary C1824,Catherine C1829, and Solomon C1833. Solomon Hughes b C1833 was accidentally killed on the Schooner 'Margaret'in the Swilly - Solomon's wife was Ann Hughes nee Drew and they lived in Strand St Bangor. THere were 5 children - Elizabeth Ann C1865, John C1865, Solomon C1872 d 1891, Mary 1876 & Robert 1879.
Mary came to N.Z in 1901 and Robert may have come to N Z also. Here is hoping I may find a link.

I am searching for the birth date and birth place of John Hodges who died at Magor, Monmouthshire, England 15 Dec 1777. He had a farm at Upper Grange and in his will he states that his son living at Roggett was to inherit his farm. John Hodges will was proven on the 18 Dec 1777
John had 4 daughters and 3 sons and his wife's name was Sarah.
I will be happy to share what information I have about this family to any one who would like to contact me. My e-mail < kaymhodges@juno.com >

Seeking clarification on parents of Thomas Pearce who stated he was born 1824 Glamorgan. LDS have Thomas, Edward and David, parents:William and Elizabeth - all children baptised St Brides Major, Glamorgan. Now another researcher has found reference to Mother as Margaret Phillips. Would appreciate any info on this family.

I am having a problem with the family tree. My parents died quite young, in their fifties both passed away 2002. My grand father passed on in 1974, I was only one and my grandmother passed away after being very ill in 2004.Her family/maiden name was Parry and I am sure that the family used to talk about Thomas Street all the time.I remeber my sister being ill in Wales and mum and dad went to see her in hospital. While they were there they said about visiting dads relatives old address in Thomas Street and he reminiced over how steep the street is and how he remebered it all so well. My grandmother was Beatrice May Parry, she had several brothers but I know only one name for sur which was Thomas or Tommy as she called him. I think that she may have had a brother called Danny also. I am not sure about the family history but there was some talk about a second maariage or something. I don't know my great grandmothers name and despite searching have bought about only blanks. Nan was born in 1913 so any time beofre or after this I assume they lived in the area. Any information greatly appreciated
