I hope someone can help me. I am looking for my father. I was born to Eiluned Williams of Corwen on 28th March 1962 at Maelor Hospital Wrexham. I have met my mother but would dearly like to contact my father. As she won't tell me who my father is, this is my last hope. I know that he was from Corwen/Cynnwyd Elfed area, North Wales, and his family still have a farm in the area. He moved to Anglesey, is married with children. One of his children drowned several years ago.

| I am looking for my mother Violet Owen and my siblings Terrence,Jean, and Mary, there may be others. I was born 1.12.1944 Chester City Hospital. Violet lived in Corwen at the time of my birth. I lived with Violet for a short time and then I was placed in a home for children.I now live in New Zealand with my husband and children and would love to have contact with you. Can any one help. |

I HAVE TWO BROTHERS OUT THERE. ONE I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT EXCEPT HE WAS BORN TO MY MOTHER POSSIBLEY IN '48-49. THE OTHER BROTHER WAS NAMED ALAN? PRIOR TO HIS ADOPTION BY A FARMING COUPLE FROM BRIDGEND?
OUR MOTHER IS CALLED MARY, SHE WAS 20 OR 21 WHEN SHE GAVE BIRTH TO HIM AT ST DAVIDS HOSPITAL CARDIFF. MUM HAD TO PLACE US IN 'ELY HOMES'BECAUSE SHE HAD NOWHERE TO LIVE. SHE HERSELF WAS BROUGHT UP IN NAZERETH HOUSE CONVENT CARDIFF. HER MAIDEN NAME WAS MURRAY.
IF EITHER OF YOU ARE OUT THERE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO REPLY, JUST UNDERSTAND THAT MUM IS AN EXCEPTIONAL WOMAN WHO HAS SUFFERED THE LOSS OF HER TWO BABIES, I WANT YOU TO KNOW JUST HOW MUCH SHE LOVED/LOVES YOU AND THAT HER SITUATION WAS IMPOSSIBLE.
ALAN AND I WERE IN THE 'HOMES' TOGETHER, IT HAD ALREADY BEEN DECIDED BY THE POWERS THAT BE, THAT ALAN WOULD BE BETTER OFF. MUM WAS ABLE TO KEEP ME BECAUSE SHE ACCEPTED A PROPOSAL OF MARRIAGE BEFORE MY ADOPTION PAPERS COULD BE COMPLETED.
