| I am searching for my brother 'Graham Stewart' born 24th March 1957 in Wrexham. Although I know where his files are kept (City of Liverpool) it appears he doesn't wish contact (I hear he's had a wonderful adoption and has no wish to open up the past) I am returning to Britain for the last time in May and dearly want to meet him. I seem to be banging my head against a brick wall on this issue. I have his birth certicate, can any one tell me if there is an adopted persons register that I am allowed access to? I am searching for June Marie Thompson, who was from Cardiff and had a daughter called Ruth Valerie Thompson (adopted name Weaver)on 29th August 1958 (This was a private adoption). I understand that Mrs Thompson has other children and I would be grateful to hear from anyone. |

Does anyone know where the family of Victor Merrett is today. During the years 1944/46 he lived in Hampshire and was married with a young daughter born in approx. 1942/4.
He joined the army in around 1932 - could have been with a Hampshire Regiment.
Any help would be appreciated. |

Hi every one I am still searching for my sister Stephanie Roberts born in 1970 in wrexham. But im on here to give you all a tip!
IF YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILD/SIBLING WAS ADOPTED THEN YOU CAN CONTACT THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES ADOPTION AND FOSTERING SERVICE AND THEY WILL EITHER KEEP A LETTER ON FILE OR TRACE THE ADOPTEE AND LET THEM KNOW WHERE YOU ARE SO THEY HAVE THE CHOICE TO FIND YOU IF THEY WANT THIS IS A FREE SERVICE, i did it today they rang me within half an hour to tell me she had her file in front of her and with my permission she would trace my sister now im sitting here fingers crossed and hoping that she will want to meet me. If you havent tried this give it a go good luck every one in tracing your families |

| I am searching for my sister Stephanie Roberts she was born in wrexham 2nd of sept 1970 adopted when she was about 6 weeks old. I am on the adoption register I have her birth certificate I dont know what else to do I spend my spare time searching message boards hoping to find her I dont think she wants to be found because she would be on the contact register wouldnt she??
