| I am searching for my birth mother.Ann Bennet from Swansea,20 yrs old in 1964.came to cornwall, had me and left me here for adoption.Ann named me "melanie".Her last known address was in Brynmill,Swansea.She would be 60 years old now.Ann was training to be a nurse when she became pregnant by a married man(Brian),who was a shunter for the railway.This is such a long shot but I would really love to find her. |

My name is Adrian Jones and I am a trainee-researcher with Torpedo Ltd., an independent television and radio company based in Cardiff.
I have been asked to do some research into adoption, and with this in mind was wondering whether you would like to share your story with me.
I am aware that this is an issue that brings with it a range of different emotions, so please be assured that anything you tell me will be dealt with in the strictest confidence and in the fairest manner.
As programme makers, we are not looking for a sensationalist angle – instead we want to explore this topic and to uncover some of the challenges that adopters, adoptees, and those looking for parents or family members face.
I will be interested in reading anything you are willing to share with me.

| i am looking for my half brother i dont have alot of information on him he was born either 1954 or 1955.im not sure of the month i belive he was born in wigan infirmary.my mom was 12yrs old when she had him they took him away at birth. her name is kathleen mary gizzie, may have gone under mary gizzie,or roberts, or johnson any one with any info please contact me we have been searching for years now. |

| looking for my birth mother all i know is her second name is jenkins my birth name was andrew lee jenkins born on 19 july 1976 in grandparents bathroom in nantymoal ogmorevale adoptid when i was six months old and i also no i have a half sister who is a year or two older than me by the same mother who is also adopted and i want to find her to dont know anything about my father he wasnt named on the birth certificate please help if you know anything |

| I am looking for my biological father, his name is Glyn Evans and he would be in his fifties now. He was born in Tredegar, Gwent and his occupation at the time was a tyre fitter. He was married to Shirley in July 1972 and they had twin daughters called Andrea and Elizabeth. They divorced in 1976 and the children adopted by their stepfather in 1977. He may still be living in the gwent area, I believe he has other children now. If any of this seems to ring a bell please contact me, any info will be greatly appreciated. |

That was the name your birth Mother gave you when you were born on June 6th, 1967 in Rottenrow Maternity Hospital in Glasgow. Your adoption was finalized on July 26, 1968. Your adoptive parents also adopted a sister for you and that was finalized on April 30, 1970. You have a wonderful family who has been trying to locate you for some time now. St. Margarets at 274 Bath Street, Glasgow, Scotland G2 4JR has all the contact information on file waiting for you. If you would like to know your birth family the door is wide open. Just so you know, you have two brothers and two sisters who are, along with your birth Mother, wanting to know you. If you are Mark Morgan, please do not be anxious. Your family is kind and loving. Finding you would complete them. If you so choose not to contact them could you please also let that be known.
