Hi, I'm trying to trace my sister who was adopted. She was born on 21st December 1969, in the maternity hospital in Newport Gwent. She was named Mandy/Amanda. She weighed 5lb 12oz and was taken from my mother at 9 days old. She would have been adopted about 3 months later. If anyone could help I would be extremely grateful as it would be lovely to be able to contact her. Many thanks, Wendy |

I am looking for my Birth relatives.
Mother - Barbara Linda Murphy/Cutts
Brother - Robert Cutts
Sister - Caroline Bible
Father - Brian Rotherram/Ham.
Grandmother - Eileen Murphy
Grandfather - Robert Murphy
I was born on 26/12/1963 in Fairwood Hospital, Gower, Swansea. My Mother lived at 7 Clyne Court, Sketty, Swansea at the time. Caroline I believe was 2 then. My Mother got married in March 1964 to Donald Cutts, and lived in Neath Road, Hafod Swansea, with A couple called Mr & Mrs Long, who owned the house. Donald Cutts worked for British Rail at this time. Robert Cutts was born in the September Quarter of 1965.
Brian Rotherham/Ram, not sure which, was in the 206 Regiment of the RPC, in 1963 based in Stratford upon Avon. Paperwork states that he was with my Mother in London at the time, and she left London to come home to Swansea, 4 months into the pregnancy with me. Apparently he came looking in Swansea for me in 1964, but I was already adopted out and was unable to find me.
If anyone knows anything about the people mentioned, or the address,or names of any of the above I would be eternally grateful if you could contact me at dracos41@yahoo.co.uk. Thank You. |

CONTRIBUTORS SOUGHT FOR NEW BBC1 “FOUND” SERIES
Found is the BBC1 documentary series which explores the emotional and heartfelt stories of foundling and adoption cases, following individuals as they seek to trace their loved ones.
The first run of five episodes in May 2006 was acclaimed by viewers and critics alike, leading the BBC to order a new series of five programmes which are about to start filming.
Each case in the Found series receives a considered portrayal, with all sides of the story explored. What would make a mother abandon her child? What does it feel like to grow up not knowing your real name, where you were born, or even your date of birth? Found explores these sensitive and complex questions, touching on our society’s attitudes towards illegitimacy and ethnicity over the last seventy years.
The series is presented by Kate Adie, the broadcaster and author who is familiar to viewers from her years as BBC TV’s Chief News Correspondent. Kate was herself adopted and her book Nobody’s Child, published in 2005, offers a compelling insight into the moving and inspiring stories of abandoned children.
The Found production team works closely with charities such as NORCAP (National Organisation for the Counselling of Adoptees and their Parents) to give abandoned children of all ages an opportunity to trace their past.
Found’s producers are on the hunt for new cases right now.
We welcome calls or emails from individuals who have an extraordinary or heart-warming story to tell, especially those who have personal experience of:
• Abandonment
• Fostering
• Growing up as a foundling or adoptee
• The search for family
• Reunion with loved ones
If this is you or someone you know and you would like to be involved or you would like some more information, please contact Oliver Barber or Jane Ayoade as soon as possible at Leopard Films on this telephone number 0870 420 42 32.
Alternatively, via email: found@leopardfilms.com

hi
Im lookin for my two brothers Daniel Jamie Reed and Timothy Gavin James Reed as I am their 14 year old half sister. They were both adopted from my mother in the 1980's- 1990's but before 1991. i think and were also born about 1983-1885. My mother is stella reed. Once adopted, their full time parents were called 'Margaret and Ivor' and the last time my mum was in contact was in 1993. Daniel and Timothy are both in their 20's and I hope to find you soon.
