| I am searching for any information relating to my birth parents. As far as I am aware, I was born on January 13th 1970 at St. Davids Hospital in Cardiff, Wales. I was adopted by a wonderful couple and had a fantastic childhood and upbringing, but since they have both passed away, something is missing form my life. Hence this search for information. ANY information (good or bad) would be gratefully welcome. Thankyou. |

To all looking for an adoptee ..If you know the agency or local authority that dealt with the adoption then write to them with the information you have and ask them for help in tracing your relative and they will assist you ...I am going through the same process and am almost close to finding my brother

I've found MORE DETAILS that hopefully will help my search! My adoptive parents names are;
the late ALAN TABBNER(lorry driver)and his still living wife MARGARET ROSE TABBNER.
They used to live in 11 REGENT CLOSE, TIVIDALE,
NEAR DUDLEY, STAFFORDSHIRE, where apparently my birth mother and birth grandmother
visited when I was about 6 mths of age, however they were not allowed to see me.
I think my birth mother was a nurse and my supposed father was a doctor; they were not married together.
It seems that my BIRTH MOTHER AND HER FAMILY had a QUARRY somewhere in WALES.
I was born on the 10-08-1964, at NEW CROSS HOSPITAL WOLVERHAMPTON and my birth mother named me LAURA; given up for adoption at 6 days old; date of adoption order 26th January 1965. |

I'm looking for my birth mother,unfortunately I don't know her name! I was born on 10th AUGUST 1964, she named me LAURA. As far as I know I was 6 days old when I was given up for adoption.

| I am searching for my natural sister, birth name Gloria Barugh, 22/04/1944 c. She was born to Phyllis May Barugh in Tredegar Nursing Home, and subsequently adopted, probably privately. I too was adopted, but have traced natural family. Mother resided in Llanhilleth, Gwent, South Wales, then known as Monmouthshire. |

| i am looking for my daughter nikita murphy born on the 27/09/1986. she was addopted in wales when she was about seven. all your sisters and brothers have come home to ireland, marcella and pamela have set up home in wales, but come home for visits. nikita's addopted surname may be changed to ormond, and her first name may be have changed too. she could have been living in sheepwood close in bristol england as a child with her addopted family. if anyone has any information please contact me at my e-mail address.thanks eilish |

Were you born on the 27th October (not August) 1956?
I am searching for David George Christodoulou born on 27th October (not August) 1956 at 17 St Peters Road, Parkstone, Poole, Dorset. David was ADOPTED out of the family. His mother was Helen May Christodoulou (my sister) who sadly died in 1970. Helen was 16 when David was born.
We also know that Helen was working at Max Factor when David was born.
Helen went to Kemp Welsh school and left in 1955.
Helen lived with her grandmother Ellen Toms (previously Downie) (nee Cherrett), for a short while during the blitz years and later with Alfred and Elsie Merrifield at 3 White Close, Poole. This was probably an informal arrangement, as Helen was recorded at School (Kemp Welsh) as “Christodoulou”, and a “Mr Christodoulou” was recorded in the school attendance register, as her parent / carer. Poole. Helens parents were George Christodoulou and Phyllis Christodoulou (nee Cherrett). They divorced and both married again. George stayed in England and Phyllis went to Canada where she married Ernest Scott in 1954/5.
I am trying to find David as he is my nephew.
