I am looking for information on the following family. I would be interested in hearing from you if they sound familar. The family lived in Brant, Bruce South, Ontario Canada in 1881. Some of this family later lived in Owen Sound, Grey Co. (North), Canada
James Robertson b. abt 1841 in Scotland
Wife Elizabeth b. abt 1845 in Ontario, Canada
Children:
James Robertson b. Abt 1864 in Ontario, Canada
Janet/Jennette Robertson b. 25 Dec 1862 in Ontario Canada. Janet married Edwin Morris Weadbrock (Wiedbrauk)18 Nov 1891 in West Superior, Douglas Co., Wisconsin (USA). This family also lived in Minn., possibly North Dakota and Michigan (USA).
Alexander Robertson b. 4 Jun 1868 in Ontario, Canada. (Alexander married Mary.)
Elisabeth Robertson b. Abt 1875 in Ontario, Canada
Charles Robertson b. Abt 1877 in Ontario. Charles may have had children Bert, Marmie, & Billy.

It is also believed that James (Sr.) had a brother named
Thomas Robertson b. abt 1839 in Scotland
Wife Janet b. abt 1850 in Scotland
Children:
Alexander Robertson b. abt 1873 in Ontario, Canada
Mary Robertson b. Abt 1876 in Ontario Canada
This family also lived in Brant, Bruce South, Ontario Canada in 1881.

Seeking information re my g g grandparents, Alexander Grant(b.1839) and his wife Allice Grant Stephen(b.1845). Both born in Aberlour, Banff and married there in 1864. Lived in Boharm, Elgin in 1881 where Alexander's occupation was "Head Brewer".
Any info would be very much appreciated.

I am looking for infomation on Walter Lauder born in Glasgow Scotland in 1808. His parents names were Walter Lauder SR born 1780 in Kirklintiloch, Scotland & Margaret Allen born 1786-1789 in Kirklintiloch, Scotland.

Any information on any of these family members would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Looking for any information on John McDonald b. 1843 Dalmally, Scotland d. 1908 Australia.

Apparantly moved to Australia, with or without first wife. Daughter died in Aust. John then had two children with Laura Louisa Palamountain, they were married and had two more children, twin girls. Apparantly John at some stage returned to Scotland and received an accolade in the the form of a large glass urn with glass grapes cascading down the side. His fathers name was also John and his Mother was Margaret Campbell.

Looking for any information on Christine (Christian) Murray born in 1856; the daughter of William Murray and Elizabeth Taylor (both born in 1832). Christine married William Mair and had at least a daughter, Elizabeth.

The Murray's were based out of St.Fergus, Banffshire, Scotland.

If anyone has any information on these people it would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for info on Patrick hughes born Armagh around 1852 went over to scotland in 1876/75 i think have is marriage cert. for Glasgow Scotland 1877. Or anything on his parents Peter Hughes mother Catherine Sherry. I have been looking for the side of my family for years now and have no luck so anything on them would be most welcome thank you

Looking for information on parents and other family info for James MURRAY (b. 1740) and his wife Margaret who sailed on the Hector in 1773.
He later married Lillian SUTHERLAND (B. abt 1740) who also came on the Hector. Who were her parents? They all were born in SUTHERLAND, Scotland but I don't know where. CAN ANYONE ADD TO MY INFORMATION??? All help appreciated.
