I know that John was born in Southerlandshire, Scotland in approx. 1817. He married Elizabeth on 28/05/1851 in Cyne, Scot. He migrated to Victoria, Australia(do no know when)and died in approx 1885. All I know about Elezabeth is that she was born in Seiberscross, Scot. approx 1822 and died in Victoria, Aust. approx 1912. Also Oliver Sommerville & Amelia Ferguson, who were also married in Beith, Ayrshire around 1830. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. E. (Surname unknown) born 1824 in Woolwich, Kent. Thomas Henderson was born in Haddington on 15/4/1815, apparently he was married previously to a Margaret/Maggie Brown in 1835/40. Presumably she died and he remarried shortly after as several other ancestors of mine have done, one of them 3 times. Coincidentally he was a son of Jane Harriet Henderson, Thomas's daughter who was born in Lanark in 1853. The first 3 children of the 2nd marriage were born in Belgium although I have only found confirmation of the 3rd child's birth, Thomas Henderson born in 1847 in Belgium. The next 3 were born in Scotland. The 3rd of these is Jane Harriet Henderson born in 1853, of whom I am a descendant on my maternal grandmother's side of the family. The remaining 3 were born in Yorkshire. Apparently 3 people by the name Thomas Henderson married respectively a Jane Black, Jane Finlayson & a Jane Paterson. Unfortunately I do not know which if any of these Jane's is the Jane I am looking for, she had two middle names but all I know is that her initials are Jane H.(arriet?) E. ? (Surname unknown). Hopefully there is someone out there who may be able to throw some light on this particular subject. Reply to this message   Geoff Weir Australia Jul 31, 2005 Searching for the death of Mary Ann WATT nee DENNY. She was born Jan 1845 in Dumbarton, Dunbarton to John DENNY and Christian COCHRAN and married Ebenezer Watson WATT 23 Apr 1867 also in Dumbarton. Ebenezer was a Ships Master and died at sea c1877 as a passenger on the 'British Queen' somewhere between Cochin and Jamaica. In his will he indicates that his wife died prior to him but I can find no record of her death. I have searched the Civil Registration but can find no record. Can anybody help me with this?
