I'm searching for James Farquarson Cordiner who was married to Margaret Jackson on 14th June 1847.I don't know where he was born. I think perhaps Glasgow or Edinburgh. Their son William Jackson Cordiner (my Great Grandfather )was born 1846/1847 (Idon't know where).William was the eldest. He married Elizabeth Maxwell (known as McLure)on 6th Feb.1880 at St. John St. Edinburgh. His brother Arthur, born about 1851.(I don't know where)Janet Catherine, born 1858 in Glasgow.(died aged three in Edinburgh)
Margaret born 1860(died at 18 months) and a son Charles born 1864. (again, I don't know where)
There seems to be a mystery about the family, James Farquarson Cordiner in particular.
I would be very grateful if anyone can throw some light on this.

I am searching for Daniel McMillan (McMillen) born about 1725 in Scotland or Ireland. Married in Coleraine, Antrim, Ireland. He has sons: Peter, Samuel, John (our relative), Archibald and James. We would like to find Daniels father and mother, if any of you have anything like that in your records.

| Looking for family members related to James MacDonald & his wife Margaret MacKey, married on 16 Jan 1807 at Fload, Parish of Chreich, Sutherland. Children, Jame-John-Donald-Effie-Ann- Wiliam-Isabella Houston- Alexader-Catherine and Augus. Seeking details of ancestors/descendants of Cameron family listed as living in Corpach, Kilmalie parish on 1851 census.
John Cameron b 1791, Margaret b 1796, Majory b 1825, Emily (Vere) b 1828, John b 1828, Catherine b 1829, Charles b 1834, Donald b 1838, Ewen b 1839, Dugald b 1840, Margaret Stewart b 1845 (grandaughter) Infant no name bc 1851.
Margaret Stewart and her aunt Vere Cameron migrated to Queensland in 1862. |

John Mcdonald born circa 1819, married Agnes Thomson 31 12 1844. They had 3 children Agnes, Edward Ellice and John Thomson (21 11 1849). John Mcdonald and children were all born in Glasgow, Scotland. Don't know about Agnes. I am looking for their address in Glasgow where they were when they got married, and dates of death of the first 2 children.
