I am hoping someone may be able to help me find any info on my ggrandfather Hugh Fraser. All I have been able to to establish is his marriage in 1852 in Glasgow to Martha Douglas. His immigratioin to Australia in 1852 with Martha and their children Martha,Thomas & Douglas. Hugh was a saddler by trade and they seemed to have resided in the Gorbals area. His age on shipping papers is given as 33. I have been unable to locate anything in any records here as to his birth etc. Here's hoping Phyl

Andrew Rintoul Reid came to Australia on the Loch Long in 1883 and married Eleanor Walters.b1861 in australia. He was my great grand father and I have info to swap on this branch.
I know the remaining Robert born 1857 remained in Scotland married Ann rae Smith and had 4 children
He died in 1905 and she in 1922. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I know the original Robert died prior to 1856 as did Elizabeth grays father but what became of everyone else. Does anyone know .Thanking you in advance.They were mainly from the Glasgow area.

| Looking for information on Neil Shaw born 1756 who lived on the Isle of Mull in the Bunessan area. Was married to Janet Mcgillvray and had 6 children and died around 1840.Two of his children went to Australia in the 1850s. |
