Trying to find information on great great grandfather and his wife JOHN COOPER and AGNES FERRIE. He was born in Kirkintilloch in 1807 to DANIEL COOPER & MARION PATRICK. I can't seem to find any info on AGNES whose father was BERNARD FERRIE. Her death record indicates that she was born in 1807 in Kirkintilloch but I haven't been able to confirm. Any help would be appreciated. |

Seeking John Watson known to me as "Scotty". He lived in Detroit in 1954. At that time he was about 17 years of age. He joined the U.S. Army and was later discharged and went back to Detroit. I heard that he went to Canada and was detained upon return to U.S. because he had no proof of U.S. citizenship, thus was deported to Scotland. I remember he said he was from Glasgow.
Any help appreciated.

Am seeking details of my Gr.Grandfather Alexander McWilliam. My Gt.grandmother Helen Meldrum(born 1862) had a son to him (Alexander Meldrum McWilliam)born 2 September 1881 in Sawmill, Cobairdy, Forgue, Aberdeenshire. Helen Meldrum then in turn married Alexander Alexander at Forgue in 1888 at Forgue.
The missing link is my Gt.Grandfather ALEXANDER McWILLIAM...... any help would be appreciated....as this name seems to be quite common, I think that Alexander McWilliam may have come from the Banffshire area..... |

Charles A Ferguson captained a cargo ship out of Edinburgh, Scotland, late 1800's, early 1900's. Was in Philadelphia, PA in Feb. or Mar. 1898.
Returned to US a few years later. Left the ship in port and traveled north to Covington or there abouts. Oldest son was Leroy Ellsworth Ferguson. His military records state Covington,PA. We assume Lackawanna County. But could be Tioga County. He had 9 to 11 step brothers and sisters.
Any lead would be most welcome. |
