James R. Prentice may have been b. c. 1850-1875 at an unknown location. In 1913 he was living in Glasgow, Scotland according to the immigration record of his son, James. The name of his wife is not yet known. They apparently remained in Scotland as they do not appear in the 1930 CT census. They had 1 or more children, including:
James M. MacG. Prentice, b. 1895, Scotland. He emigrated to the U. S. in 1913. He m. Beda A., b. c. 1885, CT (father b. Norway and mother b. Sweden) and in the 1930 Hartford, Hartford Co., CT census.
They had at least 3 children: (1) Marjorie E Prentice, b. c. 1917-18, CT, (2) James Prentice, b. c. 1922, CT, and (3) William Prentice, b. c. 1928, CT.

Interested in making contact with any descendants of William Stirling & Annie Halley married 1859 & had 11 children, the youngest being my husbands father David.
They lived chonologically in Ardoch, Blackford, Dunblane & Lecropt.
After marriage all but James moved away, he was a grocer in Bridge of Allan, Duncan was in Stirling, some Lanarkshire others where??? |

| I have traced my Baird family back to 1779 when John Baird married Isabel Baird on 7th August in Ferry Port on Craig. Unfortunately I have now hit a brick wall and cannot get any further back, ideally i would like to know the parents of John. |

Hi,
I am trying to find imformation on my husbands gggrandfather.
born scotland 1813/1815, Edinburgh. He and his brother were sent to australia, George & Benjamin Robertson. they changed their name to robinson, do not know their parents names as Robertson was only listed on George's death certificate. and we still haven't found any trace of benjamin either.

Trying to find details of my gt.grandmother's family.
She was born Annie MacDonald, fathr William mother Annie MacLeod. She married ? Campbell, and then in 1880 married Arthur C Ashwin in Sydney Australia. Her marriage certificate states she was the widow Campbell and had 2 children decd. Her birth place was stated as Dumfries Scotland. Research found 1 likely birth, but it was in, what I can only decipher as Farmitoch. I have no idea where this might be, but presume Annie may have grown up in Dumfries, and thought she was born there.

Try to find any information on a JOHN McKENZIE b Scotland who married CATHERINE ANN MACKAY,b Scotland.
Their son KENNETH McKENZIE B 1811 married MARGARET GEORGIA SMITH b1817.
KENNETH and MARGARET took their family to Australia
in 1852 on the ship Miltiades.
