I am desperately trying to trace my great great grandparents, Edward & Ann RUSH (nee McCue).
I have little or no information on them, except that they had at least one son called Matthew who was born in Ireland, and so therefore, I am assuming that Ann & Edward were from Ireland too.
I know that Ann and Matthew had moved to Port Glasgow in Scotland by 1888 as this was the year that Matthew married my great grandmother, Jane Whitehill in Port Glasgow, and that Edward was deceased by this time.
Matthew and Jane went on to have five sons and finally settled in Glasgow.
If this rings any bells with anyone, I would be grateful for any help I can get. |

I'm trying to find the birth place of my GGG Grandfather Thomas Gordon Cameron. I don't have date of birth but think it could be around the 1800's. His wife was Ann McStoker and they came to New Zealand with their son James Cameron and his wife Charlotte Eliza Gillingham. The ship was the "Silver Eagle" and they arrived here in 1863. Two of Thomas's other sons went to Austalia. Anything on Thomas would be greatly appreciated.
