His father was John Dale a boiler maker in
Scotland possibly Glasglow. He may have
went by Mc Dale .
Old letters point to him going to school in Glasglow.

I am looking for anyone to help me find my relations who all belonged New Cumnock. Richard Anderson was my grandfathers name, His fathers' name was Robert. I know that Richard was born in 1884 but cannot find any of the family on any census. I hope that some one may be able to help me.

| I am trying to put a family tree together for my family but need some help. Grandparents, Margaret Robertson and John McIntosh, from Dundee, had Black Bull Pub on the Hilltown. Also Auny Nellie Kelly and husband had Athol Arms ? pub on Hilltown. Parents James McCord and Emily McIntosh stayed in 39 Strathmartine Road,Dundee. I attended Butterburn School, girlfriends Muriel McDonald, Evelyn Scott and Wilma Moore but left Dundee in Nov.1950 to come to Australia. Would love any answers. I also attended Royal School of Music, piano and band practice and conducted at Caird Hall, July 1947 when I was seven year old. Aunt Jess and Uncle Bill and cousin Jimmy Pearson who stayed in Mid Road. Can anyone help? |

EDINGTON: John Edington born c 1845 Dunbar parents Archibald Edington Janet Kirkwood.
John married Mary Hughes (b 1847 Ayton) on Aug 6 1872 in Edinburgh. First child Jean b April 1873 Dunbar. This family sailed to NZ 1874. Any information about Edingtons around Dunbar areas about this time appreciated.

| I'm looking for the marriage of a James Hill in about 1880 (+-1) to Sophia McMaster or Mulholland. She appears to have gone back to Scotland after her first husband's death (Hugh McMaster, 1879) and got remarried while in Glasgow. |
