Warrens birthplace. He was born in Scotland in
abt 1815 and was a tailor in Edinburgh. He immigrated to the US est. 1835-1840. Thank you

Hi looking for information on families of James Scott [born abt.1783 galashiels] and Helen Warrington [born abt 1790 galashiels] Had a son William who married Isabella Turnbull in 1854 before emigrtating to Australia.

If someone could please help, I have been researching my family line for sometime and no mater where I go I come to a dead end.The family came to PEI in 1803 onboard the Polly from Isle of Skye, Scotland. The name of the Mother was Nancy(Gillies)Ross (1756). Her Husbands name was Ewen Ross (1755)who at time had died previously.Both as far as I know were also born at Kilmuir Parish. I have found stories where he was a member of Napolian's forces and was actually killed in the Battle of The Nile in 1798. The story refers to him as being a Captain but I have never documented this as proven. All I know for sure is that he had died previous to his family leaving Isle of Skye. To my knowledge the Family had lived at Kilmuir Parish prior to leaving. The other members of the family that accompanied the mother were Donald (1784),John B. (1780), Ann (1785), Hugh (1788), Angus (1790), Flora (1793), Murdock (1794) and an unknown daughter born 1798.
One daughter whom did not accompany the family and stayed in Scotland was Catherine Ross (1782) who had actually married a Samuel Martin from Isle of Skye. They had several children but 1 daughter , I believe named Catherine had also left Isle of Skye in later years to follow her Mothers family to PEI. She had married a John MacPherson but I am not sure if that was in Isle of Skye or PEI. As far as I know all siblings were born at Kilmuir Parish in Isle of Skye |

| Am working on Stewart genealogy. Would like to connect with families of my grandfather's siblings. My grandfather Alexander Stewart was born in Glasgow in 1887 to James Stewart and Agnes Clyne. His sister Margaret Stewart married Thomas McCallum in Glasgow in 1911. Another sister Elizabeth married Frederick Gardiner in Glasgow in July 1929. A brother James married Agnes Deas in 1919. A brother Robert married Jean McClug in 1923. A sister Mary married Wm Crawford in 1926. There were several other unmarried siblings. Could anyone please help me. I'm stuck. I am searching for Alexander Scott Murdoch who married Elspet Smith Mitchell in Fraserburgh Aberdeen in 1864. She was born in 1839 so I'm guessing he was born some time around then too. they had 4 children. Would really appreciate any help.

| My Great Grandfather was Andrew Cochrane B.1845 Bannockburn M.Leonora Jacobson in Australia. His father was William Cochrane who married Elizabeth Laird possibly in 1842 in StNinians, Stirling. I can't find birth records for any of them. HELP!!! |

I am looking for a James Johnstone born about 1856 father called John Johnstone mother Helen Thornburn they came from the Moffatt area I believe thats Dunfries,
I think James was a stone mason in that area.
Please can anyone help or maybe susrgest where to look
