I am searching for the parents of William & Obadiah Gordon. They (the parents or grandparents) came from Scotland and settled in Henrico Co. VA.. Wm. was born in 1793 and Obadiah in 1795. Both of them came from there to Shelby Co. KY, then moved to Daviess Co. KY. Obadiah died in Ohio Co. KY 5-9-1883. Wm. died in Daviess Co. Ky 1-27-1852. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Does anyone have information on a William Thom and:
wife#1 Margaret Beattie, d. about 1840; they would've lived in or around Farnell, Angus, or Inverkeilor, Angus, SCT and had 5 children (Marjory, William, David Beattie, Elizabeth Webster, and George Paul)
or wife#2 Margaret Kinnear, m. William 1842 at Brechin, Angus, SCT? This couple had 7 more children, names unknown to me at this time... |

Does anyone have any information on a John McInnes or Janet Stewart? All I know is that they had at least 1 son, William McInnes b. about 1828 in Crieff, Perthshire, SCT, and d. 1916 Shotts, Lanarkshire, SCT.
William would eventually marry Marjory Thom, then Christina McMartin. |

I am looking for information on John Richmond and Mary Smith - all I know for sure is that they were married Apr.30/1869 in Neilston, Renfrew, SCT, and had at least 1 daughter Helen (Ellen?) Smith Richmond b.June10/1874 in Neilston.
John Richmond was a freestone quarrier.
Looking for info on John Richmond's/Mary Smith's parents, siblings, or other children... |

| I am trying to find details of my gr parents marriage which according to subsequent children's birth certs took place 1stFebruary 1895. in Sth Africa where he was a Tailor in the Black Watch Regiment.The first of seven children was born there in Cape Town in 1876. Any help would be appreciated. |

Looking for information on Lizzie Beveridge Matchett. Born 16/07/1891 in Methven Perthshire, Scotland. She married John S Brown on 02/06/1915. There is no trace of her after thi event. It is believed she emigrated to Canada. Can any one help. Thank you,

| I am looking for any information on the Family of William Vaughn BREYER who was born August 1, 1835 at Wigtown, Gallowayshire, SCOTLAND. His parents were John BREYER and Eliza WALSH. The family were Actors and had been members of that craft for 300 years, or so it states in Williams obituary of August 22, 1910. I would appreciate any information that might be available and Thank you in advance. |
