I am researching McMillan surname back to 1700's but am stuck on Flora and Donald McMillan from Tarbert area of Scotland. This is on my fathers side.
I am also researching Semple, Donald and McFall surname in Northern Ireland where my mother was born in 1900.
Any information appreciated or any help to others researching same names please contact. |

Regarding: William Sim
His Son: John Sim
His Son: Thomas Sim md: Mary Jane INNES
His Son: Alexander Fiddes Greigh Sims
Alexander somehow immigrated to So. Africa and then to America in 1865. He met and married Elizabeth Eldortha McDermott in So Africa. She is from there. I would like to know the History of how he ended up in So. Africa. If anyone knows I would appreciate a reply. Thank you Thelma Winterbottom |

I am looking for any information on the Cairns family from Wemyss, Scotland. The progenerators of my branch were: Alexander Cairns born Nov. 26,1763 in Wemyss, Scotland. His wife was: Agnes Webster born Nov. 3, 1767 in either Wemyss or Dunino, Scotland. A while after getting to the U.S. that branch of the family turned the spelling to: Kearney. My great-grandmother's name was Minnie May Kearney and she was born in Maine. Please any leads at all would be appreciated. For example: Why they came to U.S., when they came, where they settled once here, the ship that they came on, the history of the family, anything at all. Thank you so much. |
