I am researching my husbands family. Neal McDougall married Mary Mowat (Moffatt, Morratt) in Glasgow in 1843. They had at least one child John born in 1850. We had always thought that Neal was born in Glasgow, but recent info shows that he was actually born on the Isle of Skye.
John married Sarah McKenzie and moved to New Zealand with five sons. Any info would be appreciated. |

I am looking for the family of my great grandmother Elisabeth Young born 5 September 1831 in Pattertown, Kilwinning, Ayrshire.
Her parents were Thomas Young (born about 1805) and Mary Crawford.
I would appreciate any information on the Young and Crawford families of Kilwinning. Elisabeth migrated to Australia and married in Melbourne in 1857.

| I am looking for my fathers ancestors. His Name George Cochrane his fathers name William Cochrane.I believe they moved from Paisley to N Ireland and they settled in Loughin near Coleraine. George was born in Coleraine on the 22nd December 1905 but I dont know what year his father was born maybe about 1877. His mothers name was Margaret Barr.I would love to know the date William was born and the first name of his father, if you could help I would love to hear from you.I am finding it difficult in my search as there are hundreds of William Cochranes |

Looking for information on a William Ferguson born about 1789 and married an Ann McKee. I find the moved to Ireland during the famine. Hoping someone can help me to find grand parents. William might have been the son of a James. any help would be appreciated. Thank you

| I am looking for information on my family. Great Grandfather was John Macdonald and he married Barbara Tulloch. Children were Mary Macdonald borne 1876, Lizzie Hector Mackenzie Macdonald or MacPherson died, Catherine Macdonald died 1/24/56, Thomas Macdonald died 1899, Alexander Macdonald, John Macdonald, Hector Macdonald, died 1950 and borne 1891 Jessie Macdonald Tulloch died 1977 and Barbara Macdonald. My grandfather was Hector and he and Jessie and Mary moved to Maple Grove Beauharnois, Quebec Canada. Hoping someone has information. I am travelling to Scotland in Sept and would love to find family/homestead. |
