In researching the family of David Buist {abt 1760) married to Giles Stobie, I discovered a
record of a David E. Buist . The newspaper article published in Collingwood, Ontario in
February of 1908 states that Mr. Buist was born in "Dubieside" Fifeshire. Is there such a place?

Greetings
Looking for anyone who has information about the following family.
John Leslie GILMOUR (b circa 1833 Glasgow, Scotland (son of William Leslie GILMOUR and Jane) married Margaret COCHRANE (dau of John COCHRANE and Annie GRANT) circa 1855 in Edinburgh.
John Leslie and Margaret immigrated to Australia circa 1865. They had nine or ten children.

I an looking for the descendants of the children of Alexander Drysdale, born 1787 & his wife Margaret Hally, married at Dollar in 1806. Their children were - Janet born 1808, Alexander 1813, Margaret 1816, James 1818, Christian 1822. All born in Tulliallan.

I am looking for James Alexander Watt. he married Christina Grant in 1901 and had son of same name in 1902. from what i have heard his family was not happy about said marriage. Any help would be of help.
