Looking for information on an Irene Murray who in 1956 was living at Bridgend,Pitcaple. On the 07th October 1956 Irene gave birth at Huntly Hosptial to my dad and named him Michael Murray. My dad was then adopted out to a family in Aberdeen. On the birth cert there is no father given, we also think that my dad has a younger sister who was also given up for adoption. If anyone has information please let us know. |

I know someone knows something of my real birth mother and all data would be kept in the strictest confidence - even if she herself made contact.
I was born CHRISTINA CAMPBELL on Feb 3, 1956 at the Clement Park Nursing Home, in Lochee, Dundee.
My mother's name at time of my birth: ADELINE CAMPBELL, daughter of JOHN STENHOUSE CAMPBELL and
CHRISTINA WHITEHEAD CAMPBELL from Kelty, Fife, where she too resided as does some other family.
I would like to assure you that my intents are not to inflict grievances, as I bear no ill-wills or animosity and the family that raised me into a very loving home also feel likewise. I would love for an opportunity to meet and maybe even form an acquaintance with you and any family.
Adeline, if it's any consolation from an early photograph of you I have been identified as being you - near mirror image. As well as thanking you I am also, with the help and support of my dad, very interested in my heritage.genealogical background.
Please make contact; it could be very rewarding and fulfilling to all

I am desperately wish to find out information about my family background. I was named after my birth mother, Kathleen Tait who was of Irish origin. Her occupation was a Nurse. I was born in Glasgow 13 08 1961. At the time she resided in Glasgow and was approx 32 years old when I was born. The names Alexander Lister of Armadale Street, Glasgow and a William Tait of 36 Roseberry Street are linked with the addresses she stayed in the late fifties early sixties. There is also a possible link to Coventry. Any information would be welcomed.
Thank you Maureen |

James Garrie (Garry/Gary)
I am trying to locate my uncle as listed above. His birth name was James Stewart and I believe would be in his 30's, early 40's. We heard that he was living in the Portsoy area (ish). We understand that he married - but have no further information as my mum doesn't have much communication with her family.
We would love to hear from him if he or someone who knows him reads this message.

A message for my birthparent’s…
I was born on the 23rd February 1981 and given the name Anne Bernadette, my name was then changed after adoption. The adoption was arranged through St. Margaret’s Adoption Society, Bath Street. You both travelled from Ireland to Glasgow during the pregnancy and had me adopted soon after my birth. I understand that you planned to return to Ireland shortly afterwards. At the time of my birth you lived in the Temple area of Glasgow.
Although I know your names I do not wish to disclose them, as I understand it was not your intention to tell your families of my existence, and the last thing I would want to do is cause your life any disruption or you any unnecessary pain.
I post this message simple in the hope that, like me, you may search these pages every few months or so. I wish you to know that I had a very happy childhood and live a very fulfilling life now. I have never wanted for anything, particularly love. I was raised to understand why you both made the decisions that you did and wish you to have no regrets; life is too short, and far too precious. Most importantly, I want you to know that you are always in my prayers and that I love you both, I always will.
I didn’t post this message to initiate a response, but if you are my birthparent and wish to contact me please do; any contact would be on your terms. I would love to hear about your life and would never say no to having another friend in mine…

I am trying to find my sister Evelyn Cameron. She would probably be in her early 40's now and I knew of her last to be living in or around the Surrey area. I think Evelyn may be a nurse but I'm not 100% sure of this. Evelyn is orignally from Scotland but left for England when she was approximately 16 years old and when I last spoke to her she had an english accent (not scottish). I would really like to contact her. If you see this message Evelyn, I would really like to hear from you, or if anyone else thinks they may might know her, please let her know I am looking for her. Thanks! |
