Looking for Mary Cunningham who had a baby (Annie ) on 19th May 1942 in Stobhill Hospital, Glasgow. Her address at that time was given as Backsidelee Farm, Liberton, Edinburgh. She was in the Glasgow Home for Deserted Mothers in August when the baby was given to adoptive parents and by the October when the final papers were signed her address was given as Blair Drummond Auxiliary Hospital, Doune, Perthshire.
Also looking for a Joseph Ferguson who was named as father although he denied this. I have no details for him whatsoever.
Anyone who has any information about any of these people, places or events please get in touch. We have no intention of intruding on a family but would love to know a bit about our history. |

| Looking for Irene Samson mn (murray) who married William Samson it is thought that in the 1960's they were in Dundee (Old Port Road) Irene gave birth to my dad and named him Michael Murray in 1956 and it has now been confirmed that Irene went on to have a girl very soon after in 1957 Both children where give up for adoption my dad at 3 month and the girl was taken at birth. She was adopted in 1946 and possibly a private adoption.
