I have been searching for my birth mother for 10yrs but no sucsess if anyone can help..
Name: Christine Sandra Docherty
Born: Aug 1957
she had me on 24/03/1975 and i was adopted from st magarets adoption soc. in glasgow i was 6 wks old she named me alanna on my birth cert.. would love to find her and fill a hole in my life. If anyone can help please contact me

Looking for a William Grieve who lived in Markinch Fife and apparently had a joiner's business. Lead to believe he immigrated to Western Australia many years ago. Also lead to believe he was in the Scots Guards. I think he may have originally been from St Andrews and his father may well have had a garage there at one time. Would appreciate any information regarding this man.

| I am looking for a possible half sister, although I don't have much information as my mother is now unfortunately not very well and cannot remember much. You tried to contact her last christmas from somewhere near Cheltenham, but could not speak with her, Ada. You would have been born in the 50s in Fife, Scotland and have since emigrated to Australia where I believe you live now. Can anyone help. |

| I am searching for my birth mother. I know from my birth certificate that her name was Janet Margaret Bateman. Her address is given as Spean Bridge but was originally from Addlestone. She worked as an audiomatrician at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. I was born 27/10/1971. If anyone can help please can you get in touch. It is not that I would be pushing for contact it is that I would like to more about who I am. |

Trying to find out anything about my birth mother
I was born 22/06/1954 Homelands Glasgow,where I remained with my mother until Nov 54.
Birth name Dorothy Helen Hunter mothers name given as Elizabeth Hunter.Glasgow Corporation Childrens Dept handled adoption but the file is missing? My late adopted father always said she came from Milnathort, Kinross-shire? Can anyone help me put the missing pieces into my jigsaw, or at least let her know I am fine and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Thanks. |
