| Would like to ask the folk of GREENOCK, and surrounding area to HELP ME, I am looking for a relative who was born in greenock in july 1954, SHE is now 54yrs old, her surname at birth was McCANN and is now living in the usa, she was adopted from greenock, adopted parents once lived in greenock area, so if you have an adopted female relative in the family with the date of birth, I would be grateful if you get in touch, I know she has been trying to make contact looking for her bith mother some years ago, but I can not get through to her message, I am her birth mothers daughter, I have contacted adoption agencies trying to find a way to make contact with her, this may be my last resort is asking for your help. |

My Name at birth was Karen Elizabeth Purse born May 12th, 1976 in Vale of Leven hospital, Alexandria. My Birth mothers name is Caroline Purse from Oban. I am looking for any relatives of my birth father.....I know he was from Connel and was told he died a couple of years ago unfortunately she will not tell me his name so this is a very very long shot. Hi I'm looking for my maternal grandmother or her family. My mother was born Feb 16, 1947 in Perth. Her mother's name was Jessie Anderson, she may never have mentioned having a child. We went to the registrar in Scotland and records from that year were lost, so we have very little to go on.
We just want to know if we have any family out there, if she had other children etc.
