My father recently discovered that he may have a half sibling, possibly female, who could have been born sometime between May 1941 and Feb 1950. That child is likely now about 70 years old. The father of this child would have been William Quilty, a member of the Newfoundland Forestry Unit in Scotland. The mother may have been from Ontario, Canada, or moved to Ontario Canada. By about 1951, William would have moved back to Scotland, and we do not know if the mother raised this child, or if she (or he) was given for adoption, or some other situation. Not much to go on, but maybe this bit of information could mean something to someone out there if they have been searching. |

I was born on November 5th 1969 & was adopted at 6 weeks old, to a couple from the Aberdeen/Dundee area. I don't have any information, other than I MAY originally be from the Glasgow area. |
