| Looking for RONALD McDONALD (I have heard the joke about him having a big red nose, standing in front of yellow double arches on every corner so please don't send me this one) He was married to CATHERINE McDonald (nee) and had a daughter MARGARET McDonald in April 1820 in Ontario. Looking for details of my g-grandfather: ROBERT ROBERTSON (married Emily Cook 1876 in Australia); born about 1850-1856 in Scotland or Australia. Died 1931 Sydney.
Father's name ROBERT ROBERTSON, mother AGNES.
Cannot find any definitive birth records in Scotland or Australia.
Came by ship (free settler or assisted emigrant) from London, with father (?) and brother (?).
Nothing definite in passenger lists.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi! I am looking to find out my Great Great Great Grandfather Alexander McLeod's place of birth and parents names.
The info. that I hold is that he was born in or about (1835) on The Isle of Skye in Scotland. He married a Christina MacDonald who was also born (1844) in Scotland and both moved to Canada. I am not sure whether they were married here or in Scotland. He died July 1927 and is buried in Rock Lake, Ontario, Canada. If you think you may know any info please contact me via e-mail. I am trying to find an Alastair Dickson who lived in Aberdeen in mid-90s. Alastair ran a company called Hadport Ltd and I was his Business Banking Manager. I moved away to Edinburgh and then back to Aberdeen and managed to lose his tel.no. Aalstair was a great Rangers supporter travellingdown to matches and taking his niece and nephew from Kilmarnock. I believe his sister worked for the Halifax in Kilmarnock which is now HBOS. Does anyone know where, how Alastair is?
