Robert Miller (mason/stonemason) m. Mary Steel(e) had son Alexander Bap. 29 March 1772 Reg. at Glasgow (Lanark) Seeking all details of this family. Did alexander eventually go to
(a) Ulster ?
(b) Isle of Man ?
There were other Millers whose occupation were Masons/stonemasons , anyone have early family who lived in this area of Scotland but also in the North East of Scotland,i.e.Inverness,Moray,
Sutherland,Caithness, for instance, who were Masons etc? |

Could Flo Sharp who replied to my message in relation to information on James Simpson please email me. I sent the following email to you but I got a delivery failure message saying your email address was not recognised:
Flo,
All I knew was that James was born in Stanley and that his parents were Robert Simpson and Janet Stewart.
I've been having trouble determining when exactly James was born as all the records I have to hand give differing information.
If you are able to give me any details in relation to James and his family that would be absolutely wonderful.
I thank you in anticipation of any info you can supply me with.

I am looking for information on my grandmother MARY ANNE CONNOLLY born 1890 in Auchinlich ( Ayershire ) Scotland. She married JOHN COOGAN and had 2 daughters, he died in the 1st world war and she married again in HAMILTON, ONTARIO CANADA.
I do know she had a brother ANDREW.
Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you |

Hi my name's davina, im looking for my uncle (my mums brother), his name is David claud ross Taylor, he will be approximatly 57-58
My mums name is patricia martha reid brown formaly reid taylor, he has another sister called elizabeth brown reid taylor
There mother was called martha brown reid taylor (now deceased in 1949)
There dads name is james john bagan taylor he was a baker journeyman.
My mum was born at 3 morrison street, glasgow in 1948.
There is a possibility that my uncle may have spent time in australia and may still be there.
If anybody has any information about my uncle i would realy appricate it. |

| Hi i am looking for ANY relitives of my father Thomas Porteous born 15th May 1946 (Glasgow, Scotland) born to Rachel Elizabeth Keery/Glasgow & James Porteous. All i have to work withis my fathers birth certificate which says his mother was also married to John Glasgow whom she married 24th March 1933 at Glasgow. I know he has a sisters by the name of Lilian & Rachel & Lilian was married to a man called Stuart Richmond & they may have had two children Stuart & Avril. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! |
