yrshire, Scotland. Married Edward Newton Sparrow (American G.I.?) and went to live in Virginia, U.S.A. just after WW2. Mary Margaret was known as May, and was killed a few years ago in an accident. She and Edward had two children, George and Virginia, (married name could be Burkett), who are my cousins. Looking to add to existing family history, and happy to share. |

They were married 9 Aug 1873 in Gartly and had 15 children. One child, Norman, died at about 4 years old. Their son, Donald (later changed to Dan) is my maternal grandfather. He married Gladys Pauline Miller and died in Washington State, USA. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi Everyone,
I am seeking info re my gggrandfather, JOSEPH INGRAM. I think he was born 1829,Huntly, Aberdeen. At some stage he migrated to SOUTH AFRICA, where, in about 1858, he married JANE BACHE REED from CHESHIRE . They had 5 children & at some stage migrated to OZ. Joseph's death cert states he was a deep sea diver/miner - a bit unusual - but maybe he was working on harbour construction in South Africa?? Any info would be much appreciated. |
