I am trying to locate information on my family. Patrick Leonard and Bridget Joyce were married in Scotland in approximately 1856. I have a copy of their marriage certificate. The certificate is very difficult to read. As a result, I cannot tell for certain the names of Patrick and Bridget's parents. Patrick's father could be Brine Leonard and his mother could be Bridget. Bridget's father John Joyce? and mother Mary? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. I do know that Bridget (Patrick's wife came to the US in about 1901-1904.) There was no mention of Patrick. Could he be buried in Scotland? Thanks for your help. |
