I have found his grave in Mossgreen, Crossgates, Fife, Scotland.
it reads, erected by
Festus Drysdale
in loving memory of his wife
Isabella Downie
who died 9th June 1892
(some of the stone is missing) then it continues
also the above
Festus Drysdale
who died 5th August 1909
aged 84 years.
The gravestone is old and is broken into two pieces, it sits under a holly tree.
I have tried to send an e-mail to you but do not know if you are receiving them, if you receive this please let me know.

Hello.
Me and my sister and my brothers are looking fore
our halfbrother from Scotland.His mother got married in Norway. The marriage didn`t last,and she took her son back home to Scotland. She moved from Scotland to Amerika we heard later, but he stayed with his grandmother. This is about 50 years ago.His name is Tom John Hallen, but i have heard that he maybe have changed his name. He have visited us in Norway when I were a child. Would like if someone could tell me how to find him. |

| I have been looking for my natural mother, Rose Y. Sutherland, she was born April 5, 1940. She came to the United States in May 1963 departing one year later, returning to London. My brother Duane and I would very much like to find her, simply to to say hello and know she has been missed. She had a brother name David and was from Edinburg Scotland. Hello Everyone
I have just started researching my family tree I am searching for MOIR Fathers name Henry not sure of wifes name He had 4 children Mary Hill Moir born 1913 Selkirk Helen Moir Stewart and Edmond.Mary was my grandmother( now deceased)My gm was married in 1943At St Marys Catholic Church Leith Scotland...Any and all help would be greatly appreciated I live in London Ontario Canada so i would have to use the internet for searching.Hoping to hear from someone soon

I'm looking for information on a Harry A. Herbert birthdate November 17 1951 in Scotland somewhere. His last know Scottish whereabouts was near Alloa Fife Scotland & he had several business including Fife Silica Sand Mines & Mug-a-bug Services at one time.
His mother was Mrs Jean D. Herbert & she lived in the area as well. She died August 2001.
Mr Herbert immigrated to Canada 1992 after he was DNA proven to be the father of a girl child (named Candace now about 14 or 15 yrs old)He ran to Canada to avoid child payments & left behind several business debts....
I am looking for anyone who has know Harry in the past or know how to reach his child. I know where he is & what he is up to & would like to make a Scottish connection.

Trying to trace JONNY PATTERSON. Last known address as Vaila Street, Cadder, Glasgow. I believe he had sisters called Margaret & Ann, and a brother Dean who died in his teens. I believe he would be in his fifties now, but have no date of birth yet. Led to believe that he moved to london around 1974.

| I am looking for my half sister. I believe her first name is Julie although I do not know her surname. Our father's name is David James Jockel and since his name is unusual, I am hoping that might make it easier. At the time our father lived in the Govanhill area of Glasgow. Her mother's name is Mary and she would have been born around 1972. I was born 10 years later. I am lead to believe that my father and her mother split up before she was born and have not made any contact since. I know this is a long shot but I would be grateful for any information. |

I am looking for Grace Gordon born abt. 1815 of Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, died before 1848 of Edinburgh.I believe she had polio. She was married to John Wilson born 6 Apr 1804 at Barony, Lanark, Scotland. He immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1848.
They had twin daughters Margret & Mary born 7 Mar 1836, also Jphn, Archibald, and Jacob.
I have been able to find John on the Parochial Registers but not Grace. Thank you |
