| BROWN and PORTEOUS. I am looking for the Parents and any family related to ALEXANDER BROWN who married a MARGARET PORTEOUS in December 1864 at COLDINGHAM in the county of BERWICH. They had a daughter SARAH JANE BROWN born in November 1875. Sarah later married WILLIAM BEATIE STEPHEN( birth date September 1878 at we think LAURENCEKIRK )the date and place of their Marriage is unknown, they had 1 son ALEXANDER BROWN ( born October 1908 )and 2 Daughters ETHEL PORTEOUS ( born July 1910 ) and MARGARET JESSIE HELEN (born july 1913 ). Any im.formation would be appreciated |

Looking for any help on locating the following record or family of:
Alexander Stewart
Born: April 11, 1826 in Scotland. He eventually married Christina(e) (Cristy) McLean B: abt Feb 2, 1830. She also was born in Scotland.
According to the Ontario, Canada Cristy came to Canada in 1848 and Alexander came in 1850, so I'm suspecting that they may have married here in Canada and not in Scotland, but, again not sure. I know neither of their parents or siblings as of yet or from whence they came in Scotland.
I have checked numerous marriage records for Ontario but haven't found either name listed.
If anyone has any connections or clues or even a sugestion it would be so greatly appreciated!

Hi,
Would like to trace James McGhee born 24th March 1942 in Belfast. He was raised at 37 Moltke Street. He was married to Florence Lily Stirling McCoubrey in about 1964. Or would like to trace his daughters Pamela McGhee born in 1965 and Kimberley McGhee born in 1966 also in Belfast. his daughters maybe married now and in fact they may have moved out of the Belfast area. Would appreciate any replies or information.

| Looking for descendants of James Hewitson, born 23rd January 1883, Tarbolton in Ayrshire, Scotland. James' birth name was James Hendren, born to James Hendren and Grace Clark. Grace later married William Hewitson, and had at least one other child, Jane.I believe James took the name of Hewitson thereafter. I have him on the 1901 census, but then lose him. |
