Nessie Watson Glasgow, Scotland Jan 20, 2005

I'm still trying to find information on a DAVID and WILLIAM WATSON born 1891 and 1894/5. On Glasgow Census of 1901 listed as staying at 254 Nuneaton Street, Bridgeton,Glasgow. Father listed as THOMAS WATSON born HAMILTON c.1860. Mother ELIZABETH born RUTHERGLEN 1866, also sister ISABELLA b.1892, brother THOMAS b.1899
These 2 boys seem to be a mystery from that date and none of my family were aware that they had existed until I came across the 1901 Census. If anyone has any information or could advise me of any other way to find out I would be very happy to hear from you as it's driving me crazy!! I have already tried 'Scotlandspeople' but can't even bring up their birth. MYSTERY OR WHAT! Thank you, Nessie Watson.

MCINTOSH. I am trying to locate descendants of a family who lived at 53 Woodville Gans. Langside, Glasgow during WW1 The father was Colin (wife's name not known). They had 3 chidren - a son (name unknown)had a costume warehouse and the two girls were Withel & Morna. Colin was a notary public and I believe Morna became a music teacher. A picture of the girls that I have shows them as being possibly between 16-20 but that is only a guess. The children were called cousins but I cannot link them to the family so far. My father, his uncle & cousin visited them at that time. I have been informed that this address no longer exists but know it was close to or opposite the Art Gallery. I would appreciate any help or contact with any descendants. Mardi

JOHNSTON/SYKES. I would appreciate it if someone living at Dumfries, Scotland could locate the grave of Margaret Johnston (nee Sykes) who died in 1889. DETAILS FROM THAT SITE WOULD BE OF GREAT INTEREST TO ME. I believe she is my great grandmother but do not want to order and pay for a copy of her will until I can be sure. She was I believe, a Presbyterian and her husband who died some years before was David and they managed or owned an Inn there. The children that I have listed are James, Agnes, Robert, David, Elizabeth and a 2nd David (my greatgrandfather, William and George Scott. I would also like to contact any descendants. At age 80 - I will not be travelling over that way to verify details. Thanks a million. Mardi
