I'm looking for the DICKSON family descendants of the Mouswald / Woodside / Torthorwald area of DUMFRIESSHIRE in the 19th Century and early 20th.
My grandfather Thomas Graham Dickson 1885 - 1935 migrated to Australia early 1900s was the son of Thomas Dickson 1856-1932 Blacksmith, married to Mary Brown c1855 - 1913 and Marion Blair 1879-1941. His siblings were Margaret, Agnes, Jacob, Mary & Robert.
My Great Grandfather was in turn the son of Jacob Dickson 1823-1896, Blacksmith who married Jane (Jean) Wells c1834-1911.
Am doing a family tree for my children and trying to fill in the gaps. Any help would be appreciated. |

I am seeking any information on Kenneth MORRISON, his wife (Sarah MCRAE) and their eight children, Norman, Donald, Malcolm, Lodovic, Duncan, Findlay, Farquhart and William.
They left Glenelg, Inverness-shire aboard the Neptune in June of 1802. William is stated to have been born "at sea" on 5 JUN 1802. It must have been while they were "docked" as the Neptune did not sail until late June of 1802. I am descended from William and have most of his descendents to the current date. Ludovic is documented by Wayne MORRISON of Dalhousie, Quebec, Canada.
Of the rest of the family, I know nothing at all. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
