Their previous residence was at Mount Blow, Dalmuir, parents were Lizzie & Jimmy Both now deceased. Any information would be greatly appreciated, can anyone help? Reply to this message   Kathleen McKenna Ireland May 19, 2005 I am looking for my cousin Edward McKenna he would be either in his late 50s or early 60s, He is the son of Patrick McKenna of Aughaway, Cootehill, Cavan, Ireland. His mother may have died shortly after his birth(She was scottish, either from Paisley or Greenock?) I think he may then have been raised by his Grandparents. His father supposedly left to work in London. Reply to this message   Carol Ritchie Ottawa Canada May 18, 2005 Searching for ancestors and/or siblings of JOHN RITCHIE and his wife JANET LUKE. They were married in 1792 at East Kilbride. With their family of 9 children, they emigrated to Perth Ontario Canada in 1815 from Fintry, Stirling County. John born circa 1767, son of John Ritchie. John Jr. known to have one elder brother James. Janet Luke born circa 1772. Old papers mention John Ritchie of Delry Mills, apprenticed in 1784 to Henry Hannah, smith of Lennie Park for the term of 4 years. Hoping to find relatives in Scotland to add branches to my research. Reply to this message   Edward Stewart UK May 17, 2005 I'm looking for any information on my brother NORMAN BOYD SCOTT STEWART born East Kilbride on 3rd November 1929. Norman was in the Royal Navy, then joined the Australian Army in Sydney in February 1954. He was discharged on 11th February 1960. I don't know if he returned to the UK or stayed in Australia. I, along with my brother Malcolm and 1/2 sister Elizabeth have been searching for him for over 30 years, to no avail. If anybody has any information please get in touch.Thank you. Children of her uncle Andrew Brand Doig Millar (he born 1894 Fife & died 1 March 1960, Oriental Place, Brighton). Andrew's partner's name unknown to me, but they had three? sons - William, Ronald & the other name unknown to me. They may have been known as Millar or perhaps by their mother's surname. Reply to this message   Roderick (Roddy) McLean Ferguson Originally from Dundee May 08, 2005 Roderick (Roddy) McLean Ferguson. Roddy lost contact with his family in Dundee about 9-10 years ago. He was working at Wembly Conference Centre but was meant to be moving to Spain. Once settled he would contact home. No-one has seen or heard from him since. He was going out with a girl named Hywyn from Wales. He was born on 18/6/1957 in Dundee. Does anyone know where he may be? Good luck to all searching.... Virginia now possibly named Burkett.Their Mother was Mary Margaret Rennie, married Edward Newton Sparrow 1943 Scotland. Also looking for children of Margaret McKenzie Hillhouse and William Paterson, originally from Prestwick in Ayrshire, Scotland,later emigrated to Canada in 1952.
