| IAM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON THE McELWAINES WHO IN THE 19OO'S LIVED AT 4 PARKBURN ROAD KILSYTH. MY GREAT-GREAT GRANDMOTHER ISABELLA MCELWAINE MARRIED JOHN MORRISON AT KILSYTH CHURCH ON 18/04/1902. HER PARENTS WERE CALLED JOHN MCELWAINE AND MARY MCELWAINE (NE WRIGHT) WHO WAS DECEASED AT THE TIME OF THE WEDDING. WE THINK SHE MAY HAVE HAD A SISTER CALLED MARY WHO HAD A DAUGHTER MARY JANE BORN KILSYTH PROBABLY BORN AROUND 1902/3. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED. |

| Im looking for anyone that served on the FPV Jura in the mid to late seventies. She was based in Greenock but used to spend a fair bit of time up in Stornoway too. My dad died because of an accident involving the Jura and Greenock docks in 1978. |

Searching for information on, or the descendants of :
James and Elizabeth CAMPBELL of Verona, Wisconsin, USA area 1850-1900
He came to America ca. 1842. They were married in Springdale, Dane Co. WI 1854
Both were born in Perthshire, Scotland and buried in Verona Cemetary
James CAMPBELL (1810-1889) & Elizabeth McGREGOR (1827-1906)
They had 8 children:
Isabella born abt. 1855 and twin her sister
Jessie born abt. 1855
Dorothia (?) born abt. 1857
Margaret born abt. 1859
Archibald born abt. 1861
Catherine (Kate) born abt. 1864
James born abt. 1866
George born abt. 1869
2 other children died in infancy
James and Elizabeth are my GG Grandparents thru Isabella.
Other families of relation and interest are Wilson, Menzie and Morrison from Scotland who settled in the Verona and Janesville, WI area and Chicago, Illinois.

SWEENEY
My husband`s paternal grandmother was called KATE SWEENEY before her marriage. She was born about 1875 in Scotland, and her father`s name was THOMAS SWEENEY, a manager at a chemical works
(whereabouts unknown) prior to his death, which occurred sometime before Kate`s marriage in 1900 in Yorkshire, England.

| PATRICK KELLY & ISABELLA ANDERSON married and had children: Minnie, Isabella, Elizabeth, Devina, Walter, Alfred and James and others??. We understand that Minnie, Isabella and Devina came to the US. Minnie Kelly married Ronald Dunbar and Isabella Kelly married Jack Donaldson in the USA, Devina Kelly married Thomas Daley in the USA and went back to Scotland, Paisley in 1928 and stayed there to raise the children (Tommy and Peter. We are looking for any information on remaining relatives in Scotland and the USA. We would like to make contact. |
