Looking for any info for James Shaw b.1810 ? May have lived in Balmachellan, Kirkcudbright. Believe married Alexandria Hann but not sure. They Left Scotland around 1850 with daughter Margaret. Went to Prattsburgh County, NY. Applied for citzenship 1862.

I am looking for information on William McIntosh born about 1818 in Scotland Edinbourgh. Married to Jane Baird born about 1825??
Jane died in childbirth.
William was a surgeon at the Princes Hospital Edinbourgh'Daughter born Alice born 1842 treated strictly by governess when old enough ran off with James Goodsell from Sussex,and got married
Year unknown William gambled all his money and suricided on his horse with a rope

WILLIAM TAIT died 1864.
I have the original will of W.Tait. of Priorbank Melrose formally a Publisher in EDINBURGH.
The will has many names listed one being Adam Black ,also a Publisher in Edinburgh; and a Membe r of Parliment.
