Trying to locate old pal Charlie Lyons . Worked together at Kelvin Hughes in the Hillington industrial estate nr Glasgow 1956 - 1958. His family came from Aberdeen way I think.
Charlie and I were mad keen on Salmon fishing and used to go away at weekends fishing VERY private stretches which were free to us. Used to hitch lifts over Rest and be Thankful and spend time on the Kinglass and Fyne. Good old days
Where are you now Charlie.
My name then was David , now Robert and I used to live in Clarkston |

I am trying to find my father Charlie who was from Elgin. He was working as a builder in Avonmouth Bristol in 1955-56. He was staying at a Pub in Bedminster with his workmates and returned to Scotland when the job was over. While in Bristol he met my birth mother. He kept in touch when he left but eventually contact was lost. If this sounds familiar to anyone please contact me. |

I am searching for anyone who knew my aunt Robina Morrison who passed away December 2011 in Skye. She was buried in the grove cemetery in Aberdeen. Her brother, my father, Jimmy died two weeks before her. I am trying to obtain information for our family tree. Any information would be appeciated. Robina, or Beanie as she was known, never married and had two brothers, Alexander, (Sandy)and Jack. Sandy moved to Canada at the same time as my father, but Jack was last known to live in Dyce I believe
Many thanks. |
